About James Oliver

Hi! My name is James-. I am currently a college student studying early childhood special education. I am also working at a special education pre-school as a paraprofessional. I have been working with children since I was 8 years old through both summer camps and church groups. I have also been a tutor for three and a half years. I have tutored students as young as 4 years old and as old as 17. Through all of my experience volunteering and working with children, I have worked a diverse range of students, including students with a range of abilities and disabilities, from differing linguistic backgrounds, and from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I love laughing and learning with kids. I have found that, while kids learn so much from adults, we can also learn many things from kids. I also work hard to support and encourage the growth and happiness of the children I work with.
