About James

I have been very passionate about caring for people since I was young. My mother had a near death experience and on going health challenges my whole life and my sister had dwarfism and emotional abuse, along with multiple surgerie & complications. All of these issues helped to form my compassion and understanding of what people go through. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 1986 along with a career in corrections. Later in life my mother suffered from dementia and I became her caregiver. She was completely dependent for every daily need including all personal care. I have been a caregiver for my cousin, for approximately 4 years then replaced her professional caregiver through LaJoy Group Home Health Care. I have a heart for all persons with disabilities and who have specials needs requiring compassion and a helping hand.
