I'd describe my personality as fun, affectionate and loving. I like working with kids because it's all I ever wanted to do! I taught preschool for almost 30 years. I have 3 kids of my own, and 4 beautiful grandchildren. I'm looking for a job that fills up my heart. I never want to take over as the parent, but want your kids to know someone else can love and care for them, and your parents will always be back! I started working with kids when my oldest child was 3. I worked at his preschool- he came to work with me, then some of my best friends took care of him, he came home with me! It was perfect! In my spare time, I like to read, walk my dog, and watch my big cage of finches! (They are so cool!) One thing you should know about me is I am a big college football fan.. not gonna tell you my team, though! I'm also engaged to my high school sweetheart. (Long time coming) My skills include looking for teachable moments, giving big hugs, and years of experience!

One word: Delightful! After Jamee left my babies were already asking me when will they see her again! The following day also my babies asked me to call her for them to see her again. Before I became a mother I used to babysit for other people and their kids used to always ask their parents the same question my babies asked me about Jamee. It felt good to get asked that question from my babies. To me, it shows me that I can without a doubt call on Jamee again knowing my babies will be in the best of hands. If Jamee didn't feel comfortable doing something my babies asked her to do (like watching a certain show, etc) she would always ask me before proceeding. So that shows my babies that she also respects their mommy's rules which I have taught my babies that anyone who shows respect to mommy they can find reassurance that they are with someone safe. My babies were able to be themselves and when they had moments of not listening Jamee handled them with a stern loving voice. I know perfectionism isn't real as we all have our flaws ,but for our family it felt she truly was the perfect fit. I recommend her to any family who is in need of her amazing skills. She was absolutely great with my babies. I will definitely hire Jamee again as it was truly a delight in hiring her.
