About Jalen

Hi, I'm Jalen! I am an Assistant Guide at a small private school in Collierville. I assist in a Montessori pre-k and kindergarten studio, teach PE to grades pre-k through 8, and lead our school's aftercare program. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages. My love of childcare stems from growing up in a house with a state-licensed in-home daycare, in which I began working as a teenager. Having grown up with dogs, and now being a cat mom of two, I also love being around animals. In my free time, I enjoy nature, making crafts, playing musical instruments, and honing my Japanese language skills. I would describe my personality as an adventurous, loving, and creative INFP. I look forward to meeting you! I am looking for occasional or temporary jobs that fit around my school schedule. (date nights, weekend sitter, school holidays, etc.)
