Hi everyone. I'm Jake. I'm a psychology. student at UC Davis and am looking for work as a caretaker for individuals with special needs. I have 2 years of experience working in a school for special needs children, and almost 3 years of caretaking experience. I have worked with. wide range of individuals with different needs including autism, cerebral palsy, dementia and traumatic brain injuries. I have some great references as well. My rate is $35 an hour and I have reliable transportation. I'd describe my personality as empathic, understanding, and compassionate I like caring for people with special needs because the of the strong relationships and connections that I build with them. I started caring for people with special needs when I was 16. I worked at a camp for special needs children and got a Job at a special needs school shortly after. Special education has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.
