I'm a parent of 2, including one neurodivergent son. I bring 25+ years of clinical & personal experience in caring for children of all ages & developmental stages. My philosophy in working w/ children is to provide a safe, fun learning environment using various modes of expression. I believe play is the language of children & I support the process over a product. In working w/ neurodivergent children, I'm extremely creative & personalize my work for each child. I have personal & professional experience working w/ this cohort. I'm familiar w/ creating token boards, social stories & using the reward system, as I observed & asked questions when my son received these services. I'm infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid certified. I obtained my MA in Early Education after graduating from UCD. I currently work as a sub paraeducator, a sub preschool teacher & for families on Care.
