About Jake

Hello! My name is Jake and I am a current first year medical student and aspiring developmental pediatrician at NYITCOM. I am looking to provide tutoring services for kids/teens in grades 2-12 on math and science subjects. During my undergraduate at George Washington University and during my gap year in Washington, DC, I worked as a private tutor, GED instructor, and homeschool educator for kids with learning and attention deficit challenges. I work hard to build connections with each student, to better motivate them to do their best. I have also worked professionally as a group coordinator at a renowned neuropsychological evaluation center, where I often reviewed IEPs, 504s etc. I am available both virtually (typically more flexible) or in person if near the Glen Cove area.
