About Stacy

Hello, I am an Elementary certified teacher and an English as a Second Language k-12 certified teacher . I have been teaching for 25 years. I love children and have a great deal of empathy and patience. I have strong skills for teaching literacy, vocabulary, language structures and content area support through games for more engaging learning . I have reasonable rates also. I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic and calm. I like tutoring because it really helps students build the confidence they need to make learning more accessible. I'm looking for a job that will help build skills in students . I started tutoring many years ago. In my spare time, I like to read, walk and swim. One thing you should know about me is I am a mother of two teenagers and I am an honest person. My skills include teaching literacy, vocabulary development , and content area support.
