About Jake

Hi there, I'm Jake! I'm an actor, writer, and comedian originally from Oklahoma. I've been babysitting since high school and I love spending time with kids. I'm amazed by their sense of wonder and imagination and love to encourage their creativity. I'd describe my personality as joyful, calm, and fun loving. I started working with kids when I was 14-- I babysat for my mother's friends' who had young kids (ages ranging from 5 - 12). I did this all throughout high school with 5 different families. When I first moved to LA in 2015, I worked as a "manny" for a family with two kids (ages 8 and 10) and it was a wonderful experience. In 2022, I was the personal assistant to an actor with a 1-year-old son and I babysat him frequently throughout my time with him. Outside of this, I have two cousins (8 and 11) whom I adore and babysit often. My skills include cooking, playing make believe (I do improv which is essentially just playing make believe on a stage), and helping with homework.
