About Jaida

Hi families! I'm Jaida, and I've loved working with children for as long as I can remember. Since spring 2023, I've worked as a YMCA summer camp counselor, assistant preschool teacher, and Kids Club staff member. I have experience with children from newborns to school-age, current CPR and First Aid certifications, and early childhood development coursework. I love children's creativity, humor, and curiosity! I enjoy helping them learn through crafts, games, and outdoor play while providing a safe, caring environment with structure and compassion. My Christian faith is central to who I am, and the Bible guides my life and decisions. I strive to lead with love, integrity, patience, and grace. I value honesty, communication, and mutual respect with families. I'm open to housekeeping and childcare opportunities and look forward to building trusting relationships with families!
