I have a passion for teaching, and I enjoy having fun with my students! I take a personal interest in those I teach and always seek to make learning interesting. My students say that when I teach it is clear and easy to understand. Children resonate with my own enthusiasm for learning. I have tutored in the homes of students in Gilbert, Chandler and Mesa since 2023. I also taught in after school programs at elementary schools in Chandler and Mesa in 2024. I have a State of Arizona Level One fingerprint clearance card. I have 35 total years of teaching and training experience. In South Carolina I was an entrepreneur and owned a holistic health and wellness business for 7 years, during which time I taught over 450 classes. I also gave many public speaking presentations. So, in addition to academic subjects, I can teach children and parents stress management techniques, exercises that help dyslexia, techniques that help with test taking anxiety, and even offer mindfulness training.
