Hello, My name is Jade. I'm a 18-year-old high school graduate interested in senior care. My mom is a private caregiver. She's a certified RN, phlebotomy and EMT, so I grew up familiar with this type of work and she helped teach me a lot. I took care of an elderly woman 6 days a week who suffered a shoulder injury and Alzheimer's disease up until she passed. They were overnights from 8pm-8 a.m. It was a privilege to be trusted with the patient in their home. I also worked for a year but now I'm seeking something more personal and individualizing centered around the elderly. I've taken care of a 93-year-old male for 6 months who needed help bathing and using the restroom. I have also took care of a male with severe Parkinson's disease up until he lost all mobility and he passed. I'm willing to do any courses necessary for employment! I also have reliable transportation.
