About Jada

I am an elementary teacher for MCPASD taking a year long personal leave. I have tutored students in grades K-4 for the past four summers. I am excited about the opportunity to continue working with students until I return to the classroom next school year! I'd describe my personality as a warm demander. I am compassionate and patient while keeping high expectations and pushing students towards academic growth I like tutoring because working one on one with students is not an opportunity I typically get as a classroom teacher. With so much focus and attention on their individual needs I see students grow and reach their goals quickly and gain confidence! I take tutoring just as seriously as I do my full time teaching profession. I learn each student's individual needs and put effort into creating lessons that will best help them meet their goals. I am highly knowledgeable in current best practices and am thoughtful about creating routines that make the most of our learning time.
