I'd describe my personality as Dependable, Experienced, Patient. I like caring for people with Cognitive Differences - because people are people. The secondary benefit of helping someone achieve a goal or help them expand a goal is priceless. I'm looking for a job that forwards communication and community. It makes for a more enjoyable and safe work space when everyone is on the same page and everyone is open to suggestion. I started caring for people with special needs when I was in college. I started working with special needs children and international children with intellectual deficits. In my spare time, I harass MY kids - All are adult now. I also am into fitness (rowing, weight training). I am also an amateur sports photographer. One thing you should know about me is that I'm Dependable/Consistent. I have been with the same consumer for +10 years. My skills include Behavior Management/Crisis Intervention Certified, Social Skills Training, Care and Welfare Management.
