I'm interested in becoming a part/time nanny for the right family. I am an active and fit 64year-old, retired from massage therapy and dental hygiene. I regularly swim, walk, hike, and go to the gym. I belong to a book club and love to read both fiction and non-fiction. I eat healthy and enjoy cooking new nutritious recipes. I've been caring for children since I was a teenager: babysitting, reading books for Story Time at the local library, and life guarding at the local pool. Since retirement, I have enjoyed being a nanny and getting to know some wonderful children and their families.

My family was very fortunate to have Jackie care for our 3yo daughter. She is a wonderful and trustworthy nanny who always had our little one's well-being at heart. She truly enjoys children - during her time with us, she was always very engaged & patient when playing with our little one, exploring her interests & helping her grow. Jackie is flexible, honest, and open; communicating with her was always great. In communicating with our little one, Jackie was respectful & positive, striving to make observations about & acknowledge our little one's efforts instead of praising, helping build her self-esteem. Jackie was reliable & steady, not only always arriving a few minutes early but also respecting and taking an interest in understanding our parenting philosophy & adapting to our parenting style. All-in-all, Jackie provided a safe and accepting space not only for our little one but also for us growing parents. We had a great experience with her, and we will miss her very much!
