About Jacqueline

I've been a third and forth grade tutor at PS 94 in B and A Charter in the Bronx, covering all subjects and primarily working with students with IEPs. I enjoy giving students the confidence to fly solo , taking many students who came to me at a grade level below and getting them where they need to be! I'd describe my personality as calm, cool, and collected! I like tutoring because it feels good to watch students discover how capable they are and take that feeling with them into testing and whatever else they'll face in life. I started tutoring when I was a graduate student at NYU with the America Reads America Counts program that sends students to tutor at DOE schools funded by federal aid. In my spare time, I like to read a ton! I have a personal goal to read one book and one play a week. I also go cycling, play guitar, and enjoy creative writing!
