About Jack

Finding the right caregiver is a challenging endeavor, and our situation was particularly unique. My partner was an 81-year-old man in the early stages of dementia. Although he had recently stopped driving, he remained very independent—a highly intelligent individual with a PhD who had achieved considerable success in his career. He needed someone who could treat him with respect while being perceptive enough to recognize when assistance was needed. From the start, Jack willingly accepted this responsibility and adapted to the evolving needs of the situation. As the primary caregiver until that point, it was not easy for either my partner or me to welcome a new person into our daily routines. Jack proved to be dependable, trustworthy, communicative, and sensitive to my partner's needs and to the effect of his disease on our relationship. He was a wonderful companion who genuinely cared for him. As my partner's condition worsened, Jack observed the changes attentively and provided additional care as it became necessary. He was with us from the beginning of last year until my partner's death in mid-November. I cannot recommend Jack highly enough. Anyone would be fortunate to know and work with him.
