About Jackeline

Jackie was our full-time nanny from the time our son was 3 months old until he started preschool at age 2—and we truly cannot imagine a better person to have cared for him during those early, formative years. She was with us five days a week, nine hours a day, and quickly became one of the most important and trusted people in our child’s life (and ours too). Jackie is warm, reliable, endlessly patient, and deeply intuitive with children. She and our son formed a joyful, loving bond filled with inside jokes, games, and routines that made every day fun and full of learning. He greeted her with a smile and a hug every morning and was always excited to spend time with her. To this day, he still asks when he’ll get to see her again—and we happily still hire her for babysitting when we can. As a caregiver, Jackie went above and beyond in so many ways. She helped with everything related to our child—laundry, meals, tidying, organizing his room, and even shopping for clothes and gear. She gave thoughtful recommendations about developmentally appropriate toys, food, and experiences, and often found creative new ways to engage and teach him. I especially appreciated how she emphasized learning through play, structured their days to include diverse experiences (like story time, music, parks, and art), and even collaborated with other caregivers to create opportunities for socialization. Jackie is bilingual and spoke to our son in both English and Spanish, which gave him strong verbal skills in both languages from a very young age. She handled tantrums and transitions with calm and care—always coaching rather than scolding—and had a real gift for turning tough moments into connection and growth. Her communication with us as parents was always thoughtful and supportive. She gave us daily recaps, shared photos and updates, and helped us understand and anticipate developmental changes. When it was time for our son to start preschool and Jackie to welcome a baby of her own, we knew we were saying goodbye to an extraordinary chapter in our family’s life. If we ever needed nanny care again, Jackie would be our first call. Any family would be lucky to have Jackie. She is a true gem, and I recommend her without hesitation.
