About Balvina

My name is Balvina, and I'm a recent graduate from UC Davis, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and I'm in the process of applying to nursing school. I have experience in caring for children of different ages and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn and feel comfortable. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, which helps me communicate easily with families from different backgrounds. I like working with kids because they are funny little humans with their own personalities. They're all different and I like to make a positive impact :) I'm patient, dependable, and creative. I love arts and crafts, helping with homework, reading stories, outdoor activities, and finding fun ways to keep children engaged while encouraging learning and creativity. I also have reliable transportation. Families would describe me as responsible, caring, organized, and easy to communicate with.
