About Izaiah

Hi, I'm Izaiah! I've been around kids my whole life, my mom's been a special ed teacher for 20+ years, so I grew up around classrooms built for kids with different needs. That shaped how I approach childcare: patient, calm, and happy meeting kids where they are, whether that's pretend play or homework help. I currently work as an After School Program Leader with Goleta Union School District, supervising elementary kids, planning activities, and communicating with parents daily. I also volunteered as a Teacher's Assistant in high school and spent a summer in retail security, which taught me to stay calm and read situations quickly. I'm a sociology major minoring in applied psychology at UCSB, working toward becoming a school psychologist, so I care about how kids think and grow, not just supervising them. What families can expect: patience, comfort with special needs kids, reliability, clear communication, and bilingual (English/Spanish) support
