About Ivy

Hi! I'm a mom with a background in education and a genuine love for working with little ones. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Special Education, and experience in both educational and childcare settings. I have Montessori experience and love creating a calm, nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and everyday experiences. I also draw inspiration from Waldorf education, especially its focus on nature, creativity, imagination, and allowing children to develop at their own pace. I'm looking to welcome one more child, preferably under age 2, into my home for part-time or occasional care. My home is set up with babies and toddlers in mind. I currently care for another baby a couple of days a week in addition to my own little one, so I'm hoping to keep my group very small and home-like. I'd love to connect with a family looking for a warm, nurturing, and flexible childcare environment!
