Hi! My name is Ivy and I am an experienced childcare provider looking to find another family to work with. I have been a full time nanny for four years now, but have been babysitting ever since I was 13 years old. I have experience with children of all ages (0-12), working with twins, and working with families with multiple children. While I originally got my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Human Resources, I realized my true passion was working with children, and I have been so lucky to make it my career! I have taken a year's worth of college level childcare courses, and I am CPR/First Aid Certified. While caring for little ones, I love to focus on a variety of age appropriate activities, such as reading, art projects, having time outside (going for a walk, playground), learning or motor activities, etc. If it sounds like we might be a good fit, I would be more than happy to meet with you and I can also provide references. Ivy worked full time 32-40 hours a week (sometimes more) for us. She started when our son was 3 months old until we moved away when he was 18 months old. We are both busy professionals and she is extremely dependable. Never had to call out of work due to poor planning on her part. She always gave plenty of advance notice before she took a day off. My son loves her. She was so good with him from the beginning. She’s very professional and likable. I trusted her quite a bit. She’s an excellent and safe driver and would often take my son to the park or the library. She really never used screens because she’s always reading a book (her own when my son slept or a baby book for my son). She had her own baby while she was working for us and I never felt like my kid got less attention from her when she started bringing him to work. My son is now a baby expert and knows how to be gentle and loved to help Ivy with baby related tasks. She taught him kindness and manners. Us and our son will miss her so so much and we highly recommend her.
