About Isabella

Hi! I'm a 1st grade teacher who graduated from Duquense University who loves helping young learners grow in confidence and academic skills. I specialize in early reading, phonics, writing, spelling, and elementary math for students in grades K-3. I'd love to help your child feel successful and excited about learning! I love tutoring because I enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning. I'm looking for a job opportunity where I can use my experience as an elementary teacher to support students outside of the classroom. I started tutoring 2 years ago when I began tutoring through an after-school care program at the schools where I worked. In my spare time, I like to read, play piano, and cook :) One thing you should know about me is that I truly care about my students and take the time to understand how each child learns best. My skills include reading & phonics, patience & encouragement, and personalized Instruction.
