Hi! I'm Isabella. Working with people with disabilities has been a huge part of my life and something I care deeply about. My mom is a special education teacher, and I started volunteering with Special Olympics weekly at age 8. In middle and high school, I founded and was president of Best Buddies, and I've volunteered with FOCUS (Families of Children Under Stress) and worked as a camp counselor for teens with Down syndrome. I'm now studying Education and Psychology in college, focusing on child development. I've taken classes in Disability Studies, Special Education, ASL, and Human Cognition, and have hands-on experience supporting kids with AAC devices, feeding tubes, and wheelchairs, as well as those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I love helping every child feel included, capable, and celebrated for who they are.
