Hello, My name is Kimberly and I have a great deal of experience working with children with special needs. I have attended college as an Early and Special Education student with a minor in Spanish. While attending college, I tutored elementary through high school students and student taught kindergarten through second grade in inclusive classrooms. My work experience includes nannying, assistant teaching at Juniata College's Early Childhood Education Center, teaching in an inclusive pre-kindergarten classroom, and working at a special needs school specifically for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I currently work at the Chester County Intermediate Unit as a behaviorist and am a Registered Behavior Technician. I work with a variety of students with many different types of diagnoses. Furthermore, I am CPR and First Aid certified and am fluent in Spanish and sign language. I also have up to date background clearances and references.
