About Isabella

Hi! I'm Isa. I'm a senior at the University of San Diego, majoring in Liberal Studies with a concentration in psychology. I'm an aspiring teacher and have worked in school settings for the past four years. I am currently completing my extended practicum in a 3rd grade classroom and having a blast! I tutor K-5 students in math, reading, and homework support, with a big focus on confidence and understanding. I really believe every child is capable when they feel supported, so I take time to break things down, use visuals and hands-on strategies, and adjust how I teach based on how each student learns best. I want tutoring to feel encouraging and safe, where students feel comfortable asking questions and proud of their progress.
