About Isabel

I am a BFA Musical Theatre student at UF. I understand the gravity of trusting the caretaker who will be spending time with and helping your children grow as individuals. I've grown up babysitting little cousins and family friends' children, and 2 months ago I took care of and provided for my 4-month-old niece for a couple weeks. I learned the importance of the energy, time, patience, love, attention, and dedication it takes to make sure that a baby is and feels safe and wanted. When working with children, I ask why and how things happen to casually integrate academic disciplines and encourage critical thinking. I also encourage kids to learn about and respect art to develop a healthy relationship with it while cultivating creativity. 5 years spent volunteering at a theatre troupe for people with special needs (ages 11-70+), with ranging mental and physical disabilities, taught me to work through mental breakdowns, seizures, conflict resolution, and more.
