About Jennifer

Hi! My name is Jen, and I'm looking to come alongside a family to provide dependable, supportive, and engaging care. During the school year, I work full-time as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, primarily with children and families. In the summer, my schedule becomes more flexible, and I would love to use that extra time to support a family in the Gainesville area. I have a background as a preschool teacher, experience working with children in the foster care and adoption system, and I currently work with kids daily in my counseling practice. These experiences have helped me build a calm, patient, and nurturing approach to childcare. I love creating a safe space where children can explore, be creative, and feel supported. Whether we're playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, or simply enjoying the everyday moments, I value helping kids feel seen, encouraged, and cared for. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, intentional, and playful!
