About Isabela

I have been involved in healthcare since 2016 and began working professionally in elder care in 2020. I am CPR certified and have volunteered in both hospital and hospice settings. I have experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia, quadriplegia, diabetes, bedridden patients, and a wide range of personalities and care needs. I am currently pursuing nursing while working toward my CNA certification I am smart, observant, and curious, which helps me notice subtle changes and provide thoughtful, proactive care. I'm kind and believe life is better with a good sense of humor! I find beauty in many things and enjoy going out to see orchestra, museums, gardening, movies, etc. I have a great appreciation for free will and definitely use mine to the fullest. I've traveled the world on my own and will try most anything once. I have provided both daytime and overnight care. I am currently seeking 12 hour days 2-3 days a week. I can do overnights as well.

My husband and I are so lucky to have found Isabela. She is an excellent care companion to my grandmother who has dementia. She helps to give her meals and medication, and ensures that she safely ambulates to a bedside commode. Isabela is also great with our dogs, who we know can be a bit of a handful! I love that she sends us pictures to update us during her shifts. She can follow several, detailed instructions seamlessly. I highly recommend her!
