About Isaac

Hi, I'm Isaac, an incoming Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Houston with a strong background in mathematics and physics. I completed the International Baccalaureate program, including Math Analysis and Approaches HL and Physics HL, and I earned college Calculus I credit through the CLEP Calculus exam. I tutor students in Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Physics. My approach is focused on helping students understand why a method works, not just memorizing steps. I break difficult topics into manageable pieces, identify gaps in understanding, and work through problems in a clear, structured way. Whether a student is struggling with homework, preparing for an exam, catching up after falling behind, or trying to get ahead before the next school year, I tailor each lesson to their current level and goals. My goal is for students to leave each session more confident, more independent, and better able to solve problems on their own.
