About Iris

Hi! I'm Iris, a native Mandarin speaker with nearly two years of childcare experience. I've cared for the same child from toddler through preschool age and supported her daily routines, play, learning, and development. I naturally incorporate Mandarin through conversation, books, songs, and play, and the child I care for has become comfortable communicating in Mandarin. I also hold a National Putonghua Proficiency Certificate (Level 2-A). I'm CPR and First Aid certified, have a valid Texas driver's license, and enjoy reading, crafts, outdoor activities, and creating a safe and positive environment for children. I'm currently looking for a part-time nanny, babysitting, or after-school position in the Austin area. I'd love to get to know your family!
