About Iris

Iris was a daytime and overnight care giver for my grandfather for a few months and then my grandmother (who had dementia) for a few years. She is truly a gem of a human. She is attentive and a keen observer, often knowing what my grandmother was about to request before she asked for it. She is skilled at redirecting looping conversations in a kind and patient way that always made grandma laugh. She has a wonderful sense of humor and kept grandma smiling. They went on regular “adventures” together (car rides) to view the mountains or walk around old town which grandma loved! Iris is a clear communicator and very organized with medication administration etc. She gave my mother (and all of us) the gift of feeling at ease about the grandparents’ care and I can not thank her enough for that. Highly highly recommend!!!
