About Iris

Hello, I'm Iris! I'm a recent college grad with degrees in Classics and Linguistics. My passion is languages and I will eventually be pursuing a graduate degree in Linguistics. I have four years of babysitting experience with children aged one to eight. I am especially comfortable with infants and toddlers. I have also acted as a mother's helper before, assisting with both childcare and household tasks. I have first-aid and CPR training. I was a nerdy, artsy kid who became a nerdy, artsy adult. I did a lot of theatre growing up and was a camp counselor at the Acme Theatre summer camp, leading musical and theatrical games for children aged 4-12. I love cooking, reading, singing silly songs, and am very good at helping with homework. I also speak German, and can read Ancient Greek and Latin (if that's of any interest). I am looking for opportunities for full-time childcare work, but I am also available for part-time or sporadic care jobs.
