Experience: 5 yrs
I am a dedicated Nanny with 5 years experience as a caregiver. I am Flexible and adaptable. Devoted to help children think creatively and solve problems independently, and respect themselves and others. I am currently employed in Fort Lincoln but will become available Mon, Thu, Fri mornings until noon and all the weekends. I use to take the kids to everyday age appropriate activities like, libraries, parks, music class, playdates and nature walks and museums. I also like to do arts and crafts when they have the appropriate age. I love reading so it will always be one of the things kids will always do before naps or after naps. I love to have schedules set for the kids. I also ask the families to let me go with the kids to activities out but we never stay home unless the kid it's sick or bad weather. I have experienced as a nanny, nanny shared with 3 kids and nanny of twins. Please, contact me if you are interested. Thank you!
- Punctual & dependable - Extremely professional & hard-working - Honest & trustworthy - Flexible & adaptable - Engaging and loving with children - Detail-oriented & follows instructions precisely - Brings positive, uplifting energy into the home - Skilled with toddlers, including potty training & sleep routines We absolutely loved our nanny, Ingrid! She cared for our twin boys from the time they were about 18 months until they started preschool at 3.5 years old. During that time, she became an integral part of our family. Ingrid is extremely professional, hard-working, and reliable. She never looked for an excuse not to work; instead, she was proactive, prepared, and fully engaged. She loved taking the kids outside, always arrived ready for the day, and followed any instructions with great attention to detail whether it was about sleep routines, meal prep, dietary restrictions, clothing, or administering medicine. She is flexible and adaptable. If our schedule changed, she was willing to adjust when she could. She even traveled to help at my brother’s wedding in Orange, VA, allowing us to get ready and participate in the event with peace of mind. Most importantly, Ingrid is honest, loving, and warm. The kids adored her, and so did we. She attended all of their birthday parties and remains a part of our lives today, occasionally babysitting for us. Her positive energy was like sunshine in our home every morning, something I deeply appreciated as a working parent of small children. Ingrid is also a true talent with young kids. She potty-trained our twins, prepared healthy lunches, read to them daily, and played with them with genuine joy. She adhered to our sleep schedule perfectly - she somehow managed to get them to nap with zero issues, something even I can’t claim! To this day, she can still get them to bed without tears or fuss. To have someone in your home caring for your children is a huge responsibility, and Ingrid handled it with warmth, competence, and grace. She gave us the gift of trust and encouragement, and we will always be grateful for her. I would be happy to provide a personal reference for any family considering her.
