About Inge

I have worked as a Waldorf class teacher taking on a large variety of subjects from Grade 1 to Grade 8. I have worked with students in a school setting for 10 years and in a homeschool setting for 7 years. I enjoy seeing what a student is capable of given adequate support. I am particularly happy to work with students in math, language arts, science and history. I like to focus on building both confidence and a genuine love of learning by fine tuning teaching to match learning styles. Years of student observation has been the best type of assessment in determining support. My work as a teacher emphasized creative and varied approaches to material. I feel it is important to have good communication with families so that support can continue in the home as well. I am willing to meet at a school, library, or at your home.
