About Inez

Inez has meant the world to our family over the last five years, and I genuinely can't recommend her highly enough. We first met Inez when she was my son's daycare teacher. When COVID hit and the centers closed, she became our lifesaver by running a nanny share from our home with another family. After seeing the positive impact of Inez's care on my older son, I decided to keep my younger son home when my older child returned to preschool. We started another nanny share with Inez and a different family so my younger son could have that same quality care and attention. Now both kids are in school full-time, but "Nez" (as my boys call her) still works with us on a very part-time basis because both my children - and I - benefit so much from having her in our lives! What makes Inez exceptional: She really respects and speaks to children like they are capable beings. She takes their ideas seriously and loves to talk to them about their world. She finds so much humor and joy in how silly young kids are, but she also runs a tight ship and helps establish structure and routines where they really thrive. She can miraculously get any child down for a nap or to sit and focus on their meal at lunch time. She is kind but also has expectations for the kids, and they rise to them. You can count on her completely - she's always on time and follows through on ever commitment. She's also wonderful to work with as a parent - she communicates clearly, respects how we do things, and genuinely cares about our whole family. I cannot express how lucky we feel to have found Inez. She is truly one of those rare caregivers who transforms children's lives through her warmth, expertise, and genuine love for what she does. Any family that has the chance to work with Inez is lucky to have her.
