About Demitri

Hello! I'm Demitri, I have been working in childcare since I was 16. I began as an intern at a local non-profit working with children K-6 on utilizing mindfulness, art, and community to overcome life's challenges. Through the duration of the program I gained a passion for working with kids and teaching them not only how to get their math homework done, but how to be a kind friend, neighbor, and person. Over the next four years I progressed in the company and started leading my own classes cultivating a safe and fun community each day. Thought I got my start working with children I do not shy away from teens. Alongside my teaching I spent time working with teens who have additional support needs, breaking down black and white thinking and all the anxieties that come with being a young adult.
