About India

For years I have been a Family Caregiver, working primarily with a family of 6 children. When their great-grandmother relocated, she was added to the group and I realized that although I love children, I am passionate about the elderly. I immediately became 'a granddaughter' and saw that I 'connected' with seniors in a way that was exciting. I am a writer and storyteller and 'Grandma' and her new friends thoroughly enjoyed my company, as much as I did theirs. I have a servant's heart and enjoyed the cooking, reading, discussions and the trips to the museum, and park with them, much more than expected. I never was much of a shopper, but with Seniors it was so much more enjoyable (than with friends). Because of their pace, I enjoyed helping them find bargains and even clothes shopping, which I never enjoyed before! I was able to glean so much more from them than I was able to give.
