About Immy

Hi! I'm Immy! Your 20-year-old friendly, reliable, glasses-wearing friend! I love working with kids and would love to learn more about you and your family! I've been taking care of children since I was a teenager. I've worked alongside as an assistant to a pre-school teacher, teaching kids 2-5 how to read, learning basic math, life, reading and English skills. One of my favorite past experiences was teaching kids (0 years old to as old as 14) how to swim. Seeing kids come back every week for a new swim lesson at the swim school I worked at, ready to get in the pool and feeling comfortable and trusting me to help them in the pool made me so happy and feel like a protective big brother. I had kids who were first crying at the sight of the water, never having swum before, to the end of the summer having developed swimming skills and excited to get into the pool and were upset when the lesson was over.
