About Ila

I'd describe my personality as bright, attentive and optimistic! I find working with kids fun and rewarding. Their creativity, honesty, and curiosity makes every day different with so many opportunities to learn. I'd love to be part of a positive and supportive environment where I can help out when needed and create a great experience for everyone, both the parent(s) and the child! I've been working with kids for as long as I can remember. My little sisters and I have an 11 year age difference, so I became the built-in babysitter as soon as they were born! Watching them grow up really sparked my interest in working with kids, and I babysat through high school. In college I joined a baby psychology lab, interacting with parents and babies on a regular basis. I now work full time studying child cognitive development for the Georgetown Early Learning Project! In my spare time, I like to go outside, bake sweets, and I am a big fan of crafting.
