About Ikram

I have been in childcare for about 5 years and recently graduated from the University of Maryland with two degrees. While figuring out my next steps, I realized how much I miss the joy of being around kids, which is why I'm returning to childcare. I spent time as a Kumon instructor, helping kids strengthen their math and reading skills, and also volunteered as a teacher aide at local schools, at my mosque's childcare program, and worked at my aunt's daycare, caring for children 10 months to 8 years old, including children with special needs. I'm trained in basic first aid and know how to respond in emergencies. I also helped raise my younger brother, who is 9 years younger than me. He was my first experiment in childcare, teaching me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to children of different ages. I enjoy reading with kids, helping with homework, and creating engaging activities. I'm available for part-time, temporary, or as-needed babysitting!
