About Ibrahima

Hi, my name is Ibrahima, and working with children has always been a passion of mine. As the oldest of six siblings in a two-parent household, I naturally took on a caregiving role from a young age, helping raise my younger siblings and supporting them academically and personally. Those experiences inspired my love for childcare and education. I am proud to be the first college graduate in my family and strongly believe in the power of education to transform lives. Professionally, I am currently a 1st grade teacher at Uncommon Schools, where I am entering my second year. Before that, I spent three years teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Success Academy Charter Schools, including experience in ICT and 12:1 special education classrooms. Families describe me as patient, dependable, nurturing, and engaging. I strive to create a safe, fun, and educational environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to grow.
