I seek to unlock every student's potential through personalized support. For the past 5 years, I've coached and mentored Sailors and Marines in various skills and knowledge sets. I want to help students excel in subjects like Math, English, Science, Computers, History, Musical Instruments, and Sports & Fitness. I hold a college degree and tailor my teaching to each student's unique learning style by listening, observing, and encouraging open communication. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging concepts to their interests and breaking down problems into manageable steps. I believe communication is essential for building trust and setting clear expectations. Seeing a student's confidence soar as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am willing to tutor at your home, a library, or a coffee shop. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I would love to help you achieve your academic goals!
