Hello! My name is Hydia I'm 24 and I love working with children! I have 6 years of experience working professionally with children, generally within the toddler age group. I've worked as a nanny for one family long term and am hoping to find my next best fit. All throughout high school, I took child development classes while working part time as a toddler teacher's assistant for a local daycare. I went on to nanny for a family with a toddler and an infant for over two years. I love children and believe positive interactions and engaging activity is very important to their growth. I prefer having fun and stimulating brain development as opposed to letting the TV babysit the kids. I would love to help in the nurturing of your babies!! CPR & First Aid certified.

Where do I begin… Hydia is such a gem! We hired her right after the birth of my daughter to care for my 3 year old son who only goes to daycare part time. Hydia was so helpful with both children and came on FT when I returned to work. Her loving, patient, and friendly demeanor made her a great addition to our family. Hydia was always on time and was always accommodating when my husband or I were running late to relieve her. Hydia handled meal prep, laundry, outside activities, play dates, nap time, feedings and school prep plus bus pick up and drop off. She also worked an occasional weekend for mom and dad date nights. With both children in daycare FT, we had to let Hydia go after 2.5 years of service but we still have her come in for occasional sitting. My son still asks about Hydia and I would recommend her to any family and believe she’d be a great addition to your household.
