About Hope

I'd describe my personality as Fun loving, creative, and patient I like working with kids because they remind me to find the fun and joy out of every day. I am always learning something new. I'm looking for a job where I can help one or a few elementary age kids with their toughest problems and core classes. I started working with kids when I was 15. I started babysitting and tutoring the kids from a neighbor family. I continued tutoring and babysitting through college. In college I worked at an after school program that I kept after college and taught there for 5 years after. In my spare time, I love taking our dog to the dog park any chance I get but I especially love to read. One thing you should know about me is that I will always try to find the fun in any situation. This comes out especially when I tutor because I believe it really helps kids grasp whatever topic they need help with at the moment. My skills include Compassion, time management, and Understanding
