Hi there! My name is Hillary, but I go by Emmy :) I am looking for long-term, part-time work or about 25 hours starting November. I have 15 years experience working with young children. From nanny to preschool teacher and manager, to designing and overseeing elementary-age after-school care and summer camp programs, I have a wide range of experience and absolutely love working with children. I am a patient, reliable, and encouraging individual. One of my favorite things about working with young children is they are constantly learning and developing their minds. I love to create games, art, and experiments embedded with learning opportunities. I believe children should be respected as individuals which is why I approach every day with positive reinforcement and kindness. Emmy has been the best thing that happened to our family! :) She has been the nanny to our two little girls for the last 2 years and we would absolutely keep her forever if we didn't have to send our gals to school. She has been nothing but reliable, respectful, kind, calm, patient, flexible, generous, positive and completely endearing to us and our children. She is an amazing teacher, caregiver, friend and person and we are so lucky we found her. Just an absolute gem of a human being and we are so grateful our family had the pleasure of working with her over the last 2 years. She treated our girls as if they were her own, taught them so much, brought weekly library books to read, shared her own arts and crafts to create many different creations with them, happily brought them to the parks to explore and play, etc. Never once were my husband and I stressed out when the girls were in Emmy's care. She clearly loves engaging with children and has such an impressive background in teaching/preschool/childcare. She is a delight of a person and our girls absolutely adore her. Emmy is their 'best friend.' So much love and appreciation for Emmy. We are so sad to part ways, as our girls will be old enough for school, and we have nothing but positive things to say about her! Emmy is the absolute best!!!!
