I have over 15 years working with children as a nanny/child-caretaker and over three years experience working in inclusive/special education classrooms in the K-12 settings. This experience includes working with individuals that exhibit aggressive behavior, have mobility issues, various levels of communication ability and those that need feeding and toileting assistance. I have used visual communication books and know simple sign language. My adult brother suffers from grand mal seizures and before I moved away from Michigan, I was his power of attorney. Additionally, I have excellent cleaning, cooking, and organizational skills. I'm extremely comfortable with pets, I have a Master's Degree and I'm certified in CPR and First Aid. I listen with my whole self when working with individuals with special needs. I bring an abundance of patience, care and love to those who I have the honor of spending my time with.
