I'm 55 years old with 13 years of professional caregiving experience. I've cared for clients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, dementia, cancer, high blood pressure, severe arthritis, and hospice needs. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for a client with advanced Parkinson's and dementia for 8 years, until she passed away at 101. As her condition progressed, she became completely dependent on me. I provided hands-on care including feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, repositioning to prevent pressure sores, medication reminders, companionship, and assistance with all activities of daily living. I also handled laundry, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining her home. I' loving, compassionate, trustworthy, honest, responsible, and reliable.
