About Hilary

I'm an early childhood educator with 10 years of experience as a preschool teacher. I was born in Chicago and spent my early childhood years here. I adored being a city kid and taking in all Chicago had to offer. I feel very comfortable using public transportation with children, and welcome any opportunity for a city adventure to the zoo, a park, or a museum! I hold a Bachelors in Cross-Cultural Sociology, with a special emphasis on child welfare. I am passionate about nurturing children's development through play, storytelling and art. My approach with children centers on respecting the individual child and supporting their social emotional growth. I value open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day including pictures! I look forward to partnering with you to provide consistent and exceptional care for your children!
