I have always been the favorite aunt to all my nieces and nephews. Nothing is more fun than embarking on an epic new craft project or drawing party with kids. I'm a professional artist by trade (I even have work up at the Portland Art Museum currently!) and have a few open slots a week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Friday noon-6 to hang out with some special kids who want a craft buddy. I will be leaving for an artist in residence program in August, so these sessions can only last for a few months. I currently am caring for a developmentally disabled child on Thursdays and volunteering as a hospice care person, both roles are very meaningful to me. Also, I am currently getting adult and pediatric CPR training and should have a certificate by mid April.
